Santiago de Chile
Founded in 1541, Santiago de Chile is one of the more attractive capital cities of South America. With a population of nearly six million, it is a modern metropolis and you can find almost everything you need. Whether you are here on business or pleasure travel, Santiago is of interest to many visitors.

The city is filled with museums, art galleries, malls, universities, all star hotels, theatres and more. The majestic Andean Mountain Range can be seen from almost anywhere in the city. You can also find outdoor opportunities like, hiking and skiing. Several excellent ski resorts are located on the eastern side of the mountain. The architecture with its older buildings, churches and squares creates a colonial atmosphere. One place in Santiago which will bring back memories of one of the most violent and notorious coups of the 1970s is the Moneda Palace. One of the most important cultural events of the summer is the “Santiago a Mil” International Festival. Throughout its 15 years’ life this theatre festival has attracted ever more people.
