The Sphere Hotel

This very futuristic project created by Russian designer, Milla Rezanova. It will be located between Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, about 300 m from the beach on an artificial island. Views would be created on both sides of the hotel which is often an issue when you stay near a beach for example. Visitors will be transported in a helicopter because the hotel is ….. located on a cliff.

The Pooch Hotel

Forbes has ventured into the doggie land by listing the most expensive doggie resorts in USA. Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, the Pooch Hotel of Sunnyvale, CA is the most expensive dog hotel in America. The most costly suite in this hotel is the Palace Suite that costs $100 a night, per pet and the charges remain the same even if more than one dog stays spends a lavish night there.

The largest green living wall of North America

Designer by firm Green Over Grey, the wall covers 3,000 sq. ft. It is located in Surrey, Canada, covering the Semiahmoo Public Library and RCMP Facility. The wall is the currently largest and most biologically diverse outdoor green wall in North America. A green wall, also known as a living wall, is a self-sufficient vertical garden that is attached to the exterior or interior of a building. The unique design has nearly 279 sq m and consists of over 10,000 individual plants representing more than 120 unique species. It includes ground covers, large perennials, shrubs and small trees. Due to its eco-friendly feature, the wall is capable of absorbing and cleaning pollutants to improve health for visitors and employees.

Aydon Castle

Aydon Castle is one of the finest examples of a medieval manor house in England. The house was built by Robert de Reymes, a wealthy Suffolk merchant, starting in 1296. The castle is naturally defended by the slope to the Burn on one side, and has curtain walls on the other. The fortifications did not stop the Scots from sacking Aydon in 1315. The castle changed hands several times over subsequent years.
