Wolgan Valley Resort and Spa

Wolgan Valley is a resort nestled between two National Parks and is Australia‘s only conservation based luxury resort. Wolgan Valley Resort and Spa was honoured with the Conservation Award at the World Travel and Tourism Council’s 2010. Its architecture is designed to be reminiscent of traditional rural Australian homesteads. With access to over 4,000 acres of pristine wilderness, a world-class spa and private villas. 

40 spacious wooden villas, each of which features a pool, a fireplace, and views of the surrounding valley and sienna-colored sandstone mountains. The resort is outfitted with furniture crafted from fallen trees, windmills and solar panels provide energy, while rainfall is harvested for drinking.

 The main Wolgan Dining Room takes centre stage in the large, barn-like homestead, with the more relaxed, semi-communal provider-styled eatery. There’s a bottle of wine and two glasses, a fabulous mini bar with a great range of loose leaf Byron Bay teas including herbal teas (the Earl Grey is lovely) as well as Byron bay.
