The world’s first true Tree Museum
Leading “green” architect Chad Oppenheim and one of the world’s most preeminent landscape architects – Enzo Enea, showcase the emergence of a new architectural landscape – Tree Museum. Located on the grounds of a 14th century monastery near Lake Zurich, Switzerland, the 2.5 acre open-air museum contains over 2,000 varieties with the trees beautifully framed against enormous sandstone blocks.
The Tree museum is part of a 7.5 hectare park whose magnificent blooms will be on display for the public. At the museum, you’ll find 22 different tree species, including the English Yew and Scotch Pine. The trees are a collection from those he has moved or adopted over the years while creating new gardens for people. If you happen to find yourself in Zurich, take a drive out to the Tree Museum to celebrate the beauty of the bark and leaf-formed friends.
