La Casona Inkaterra
Located at the heart of the historical city, La Casona is Cusco’s first boutique hotel that reflects the cities mélange of cultures and traditions. Surrounded by astounding Andean sceneries, the colonial manor house is an exclusive hotel located in the beautiful Plaza de Las Nazarenas. Cusco‘s architectural heritage of Incan stone walls topped with colonial white stucco is echoed in this sixteenth-century building on a square steps from the main plaza.
Inkaterra has 11 suites maintaining the original Spanish architecture. The suites nod to both Incan and colonial influences with antiques and traditional thickly plastered beams crossing the high ceilings. Beautifully restored with colonial furnishings and original murals, but they also offer modern comforts and contemporary amenities such as iPod speakers.
