The Romantik Hotel Castello Seeschloss is located on the lake-side promenade of Ascona, 300 metres from the centre. The Romantik Hotel Castello Seeschloss consists of three separate buildings grouped around a lush Mediterranean garden and open-air swimming pool. Almost every day there is an Italian market in one of the towns bordering the lake. The “Castello” offered temporary lodgings to many artists, the most famous being Marianne von Werefkin and Alexej von Jawlenski, who lived at the “Castello” for three years from 1918 onwards.

In the Castello dining room a three-course half-board dinner with choice from our daily culinary offer is served from 19:00 to 21:00. The Castello Seeschloss has the only garden on the lake where guests can enjoy a meal in with an unobstructed view of the lake and the Brissago islands.
