Patch Reef Park, Florida
Patch Reef Park is located at 2000 Yamato Road, just west of Military Trail.
There’s a tennis center, picnic areas and eight pavilions, fitness trail and restrooms. The park’s hours of operation are from 8:00 AM till 10:00 PM seven days a week. The Gumbo Limbo center is open from 9am to 4pm Monday through Saturday and from noon to 4pm on Sunday. The price of admission into the park is $16 during the week and $18 on weekends.
This large park has 17 lighted tennis courts, three lighted baseball and softball fields, three lighted football and soccer fields, three lighted basketball courts, eight picnic pavilions with barbecue grills, a children’s playground, a fitness trail, and a community center.
The park is always very clean and they always have security guards driving around to make sure everyone is OK.
Some of the attractions within the Gumbo Limbo center include large aquariums with a variety of sea life, classrooms, displays, a forty foot high observation tower, a scenic boardwalk and a butterfly garden.
