The Penthouse restaurant is a breathtaking ultra lounge, not just for the food. It is an oasis of understated modern elegance and comfort amidst the hustle and bustle of the cityscape. It’s the work of the local designer Thomas Shoos. The eclectic furniture from post-contemporary to raw refined timbers, and soft leathers mixed in with the pale tones of exquisite wall coverings transfer the beaches of Santa Monica into the restaurant.
This chic restaurant features a contemporary American Menu with inspiration from the foods of France, Spain and beyond. Chef Greenburg presents a menu utilizing seasonal ingredients sourced from the Santa Monica farmers markets combined with unique ingredients from across the globe. The innovative menu includes dishes such as: Pan Seared Diver Scallops with Cauliflower Puree & Black Truffle Sauce, Oysters on the Half Shell with Serrano Ham & Sherry Vinegar, Black Truffle & Wild Mushrooms, Steak Tartar & Beef Carpacio with Crispy Capers and Truffle Grille.
