Encounter Restaurant, LA
The Encounter Restaurant is a recognizable landmark and one of the most famous edifices in Los Angeles as a whole. For many years, the structure housed a coffee shop that would provide a quick meal and cup of Joe for travelers. Just a few years ago, Walt Disney Imagineering utterly revamped the interior, converting it into a Jetson-esque restaurant and bar, complete with retro-style multi-colored patterns on the carpeting, blue and red lava lights, opalescent surfaces and moon-cratered walls.

The sculpture garden at UNAM, is a popular gathering place for students and locals alike.
