Kolumba Museum

Kolumba Museum is situated in Cologne, Germany, a city that was almost completely destroyed in World War II. Nowadays the museum houses the Roman Catholic Archdiocese’s collection of art which spans more than a thousand years. Some of the historic fragments around the museum includes pieces of the Gothic church and stone ruins from the Roman and medieval periods.

Soho House, Berlin

Soho Hotel Berlin is a private members’ club with 40 bedrooms, located in Berlin Mitte district, in a 1928 late-Bauhaus building on Torstrasse. The hotel rooms offer the typical upscale fare: custom beds, rainforest showers, Samsung flatscreens and in-house Cowshed spa products. Some even have restored vintage record players and vinyl LPs to evoke a retro industrial feel also reinforced by exposed concrete and dark paneling.
