Agadir, Morocco
Located on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean, Agadir is known as one of the best beach towns in Morocco. Because of its large buildings, wide roads, modern hotels, and European-style cafes, Agadir is not a typical city of traditional Morocco. A town with a great beach and a variety of food and nightlife, it is a very popular destination for tourists that most of them are from Europe. It is one of the most visited cities in Africa.

The main attraction of this tourist resort is Agadirs’ sandy beach stretches for 10km along the coastline of the Atlantic. With over 340 days of sunshine a year, it is no wonder that Agadir has become the country’s number one tourist centre. The coastline around Agadir offers excellent conditions for watersports. Activities here include water sports such as jet skis, wind-surfing, surfing (thanks to the trade winds that blow along the ocean). One of the most popular surfing centers is Taghazout, offers offer facilities for all level of surfer. Agadir also offers visitors golf courses, tennis clubs, horse riding and boat trips out to sea.
