Ivory Tree Game Lodge
Ivory Tree Game Lodge is located in the north eastern region of the Pilanesberg National Park. It offers an absolutely private experience as the northern region receives far lower visitor numbers, yet is still completely accessible to guests. Each of the 60 luxurious suites feature an outdoor shower, air-conditioning, full en-suite facilities as well as private television channels and are beautifully decorated to compliment the surroundings. Ivory Tree Game Lodge is completely child-friendly and suites are spacious enough to accommodate a child sharing with parents.
A holiday at Ivory Tree also features guidings through the reserve which is home to Africa’s Big Five (elephant, lion, buffalo, rhino and leopard) in specially purpose built safari vehicles. Each of the vehicles is able to carry a maximum of 10 guests thus ensuring absolute individual attention whilst on each game drive.
Other games available are hot air ballooning, elephant back rides and golf at the nearby Sun City complex. Special safaris can also be arranged such as bird drives, botany drives, astronomy and mythology drives and frog identification.
