Kite Beach Cabarete, Dominican Republic is one of the best kiteboarding spots in the world. Many pro rider are training there all year around and the main manufacturers using the perfect conditions to test their materials. The beach is wide and you have plenty of space to launch and land the kite. There are no rocks or stones that you can easily enter the water from every point on the beach.

There are loads of local riders (some worldcup riders too). At ProKite Cabarete you can meet the local scene (home of the federation of kiteboarding). The school is owned by the first Dominican pro rider Wilson Taveras. He will take you to some of the secret spots nearby. If you are a beginner you get there certified instruction in different languages. The water temperature is all year around 28 degrees C. You don’t need wet suits and there is no nasty sea animals. You have nice waves on the reef you can ride (reef is around 1,5 m under the water surface). No shore break.

The wind is blowing the whole year around very stable between 15 and 25 knots. In june, july and august is a little bit stronger up to 35 knots. A little less wind in november and beginning of december (10 to 18 knots). Kite Beach Hotel is located in the centre of Kite Beach. You have different types of rooms and suites fur every kiteboarder and most rooms have ocean view.
