Phuket is a very popular destination in Thailand in the last five years. While many of the sandy beaches on the western coast have attracted ruthless developers who have contrived to disfigure the area’s natural beauty, but the exception is the Trisara luxury resort and spa, which is situated on a private bay just fifteen minutes from the island’s international airport. Set in 40 acres (16 ha) of secluded tropical forest and parkland the resort consists of forty-two-sea-facing suites and villas that all have their won infinity pools.
