Trisara
Phuket is a very popular destination in Thailand in the last five years. While many of the sandy beaches on the western coast have attracted ruthless developers who have contrived to disfigure the area’s natural beauty, but the exception is the Trisara luxury resort and spa, which is situated on a private bay just fifteen minutes from the island’s international airport. Set in 40 acres (16 ha) of secluded tropical forest and parkland the resort consists of forty-two-sea-facing suites and villas that all have their won infinity pools. While the suites offer an enormous space inside, the villas at twice as big. Photo by: torbakhopper

Suites and villas alike come with air conditioning, TVs, DVD players, teak sundecks, broadband internet connections, vast bathrooms that are complemented by outdoor showers, and huge beds that are styled as ”the most comfortable beds you have ever slept in”. Photo by: torbakhopper

Overlooking the beachfront, the resort’s main restaurant serves local as well as Western dishes in an outdoor setting, while the Trisara Grill further down on the beach is open for dinner and offers grilled seafood and meat both indoors and outdoor. As for entertainment Trisara’s guests have their choice of several motor yachts in order to discover the nearby bays. The floodlit tennis courts and a library are also part of the hotel, and the spa up in the hills above the villas is famed for the high standard of its treatments thus completing the prefect vacation experience. And for those who stay there and wish they never have to leave, the good news is that they do not necessarily have to, as twelve residential villas that are part of the resort can be acquired privately.
