Punt along the Avon River
The Avon River is a great place to walk along if you’re in Christchurch, New Zealand. There is much to see and do here, from the unique Botanical Gardens, Orana Wildlife Park and Ferrymead Heritage Park. The tranquil waters of The Avon River allow for a wonderful sight seeing experience. The Christchurch’s most famous river is a source of many recreational activities. Enjoy a 30 minute Punt ride down the tranquil Avon River amongst the beautiful willow trees and diverse animal life. Equipped with blankets and large umbrellas, the punts are very comfortable.
