When you wake up in Corumbau and decide it would be nice to walk the length of the private beach, you better make sure you take some water with you because this is no ordinary resort beach. It stretches for more than a mile along the Bahia coastline with another 5 miles of uninhabited beaches on either side. Brazil‘s Bahia coast also known as the coconut coast is a 124 mile (200-km) stretch of beautiful beaches and coconut groves and the ranch sits within one of these groves. After you swim take a stroll to the surrounding virgin mangrove swamp to a nearby Pataxos Indian village. The Pataxos people were the first South American tribe to make contact with Europeans.
