Ciragan Palace Kempinski

It is located on the European shore of the Bosporus between Besiktas and Ortakoy in Istanbul, Turkey. The palace is made of marble and spans an area of more than 80,000 square meters. The hotel  is within walking distance to nearby Ortakoy, which has many shops, parks, and gardens, cafes and restaurants. The palace, replacing an earlier wooden palace, had been built in 1871 for Sultan Abdulaziz by court architect Serkis Balyan.

Harbor Town of Paraty

Paraty meaning ”river of fish” in the Tupi language, was founded in 1667.
