The Hill That Breathes
Set up by Englishman John Parkin, author of the irreverent and witty guide to spirituality. The Hill That Breathes runs personal development course with a down-to-earth approach that will not scare you off it you have never been personally developed before. It is set on a horseshoe-shaped hill, surrounded by mature woods with running water on three sides.

Although the summer months are hot and dry, there is a near-constant breeze around the hill, so that The Hill That Breathes really does appear to breath. Courses include various type of yoga, qigong and shamanism, as well as the popular ‘Fuck It‘ weeks that inspired John’s book. Do not put off by the name the ‘Fuck It‘ philosophy is about fun and friendship, not nihilism and delinquency, and includes trips to nearly hilltop town of Urbino and plenty of cake as well as deep soul searching.

You will sleep in a tastefully renovated traditional Italian farmhouse made of local sandstone, usually in shared rooms. Classes take place in a huge tepee on the top of the hill and on a wooden platform jutting out over the valley. This is a saltwater pool and 40 ha of fragrant pinewoods to loose yourself.

Massages and other treatments are carried out in smaller tepees hidden in the woods.
