360 Leti
For the intrepid traveler prepared to go the extra mile in order to experience something truly unforgettable, 360 Leti will reward tenfold any effort put in to get there – and it has to be said, it is not easy to reach. To get to the Himalayan town of Pithoragarh from the capital, New Delhi, you can either take an overnight train followed by a seven hour drive, or else a private charter flight for just over an hour followed by a three-and-a-half-hour drive. From there, Sherpa porters will carry your bags on the final one-and-a-half-hour trek to 360 Leti: Himalayan vistas envelop and reinvigorate the senses, and the panoramic views from the 2,400 m high plateau are second to none.

360 Leti‘s four cottages were constructed using local stone and timber. Inside there are slate floors, designers bathrooms, the finest linens, and wall of glass. Stone fire pits have been excavated into the ground in your private outdoor terrace so you can comfortably sit outdoors and watch the sun go down.

On a socially responsible note, guests are invited to contribute to a Village Development Fund, which sees 100 percent of any donation going directly to projects in nearby villages. Local people have also been trained in providing guests with an impeccable level of service that ensures 360 Leti will rarely be unoccupied.
