Horseback riding, bear and  whale- watching trips, kayaking, trekking – these are just some of the activities available at Clayoquot Wilderness Resort, possibly North America’s only luxury safari-style resort. The ranch cookhouse has a huge stone fireplace and an open kitchen where up to six dinners can watch culinary maestros prepare the resort’s delicacies. An area called the Healing Grounds boasts there cedarwood hot tubs, seawater baths, and four massage and treatment tents, plus a new spa building with two indoor treatment rooms for water therapies.
