In a clear weather the mountain is visible far from over 250 km away. The mountain and its surrounding areas are popular hiking, climbing, and in recent years are rapidly gaining popularity as skiing destinations. It has mild skiable slopes for descents up to 3000m downhill skiing – it is surly one of the world’s finest ski mountaineering places.
