“230 FIFTH”, NY

“230 Fifth” is a plush lounge located on the 20th floor of the building formerly known as the Victoria Hotel in the Flatiron District of Manhattan. It consists of two floors with 8,000 sq. ft of enclosed space and a magnificently landscaped 14,000 sq. ft rooftop garden. It is the largest rooftop garden in Manhattan. You’ll be in love with the great views of the city this venue has to offer of the Empire State Building, Chrysler Buildings, Statue of Liberty, and Hudson River.

This world class designed venue includes a very large, fully enclosed Penthouse bar and lounge, a 50 seat upscale restaurant, as well as the ability to have a seated dinner for from 25 people up to 600 people in the enclosed space and up to 600 more on the Penthouse Rooftop Garden, or cocktail receptions for anywhere from 25 people to up to 1,200 people. Nearly 40 dishes are on offer here, many with a Southeast Asian bent.

This is a great place to visit during the evening or the night. The person behind this venue is Steven Greenberg, one of New York’s best known nightlife entrepreneurs. If the 8,000-sq. ft room pimped out in walls of partitioned glass, dark op-art pile carpet, and purple fluorescent lights recalls Studio 54, it’s because the owner has spared no expense in making it as lavish as his previous projects, the Roxy and the Palladium.“230 Fifth” has a strict dress policy, especially for men: no labels, no flip-flops and no bold colors.
