“One of the finest marine gardens in the Caribbean Sea”

Buck Island is home to numerous varieties of flora and fauna, including brightly-colored coral reef system and several endangered animal species such as hawksbill turtles and brown pelicans. The area is fully protected by the National Park System. The Island lies 1.5 miles of  St. Croix and has 176 acres of white coral sand beaches, surrounded by 700 acres of crystal clear waters. But the island is accessible only by boat.

There are a variety of activities for visitors to enjoy. They can enjoy a leisurely swim in the perfect clear waters; it is a paradise for snorkelers; also they can take daily trips to the park for half or full day or scuba diving through the fantastic reef. Hiking, and bird watching, sunbathing and picnicking also are available.
