Setenil – the city under the rock

Setenil is probably unique among the white villages of Andalucia, Spain. With its tiny houses in typical Andalucian design, this astonishing village is covered by a large cliff. The houses seem to emerge from the rocks, and some have even olive groves on their roofs. The town has a ruined fortress that stands on top of a hill, alongside the church. Other attractions of the town are the cave houses, the Arab tower and cistern.
