El Establo hotel  is situated in the heart of the touristic zone of Monteverde  7 kms from the Santa Elena Rain Forest and 4 kms from the Monteverde Cloud Forest. The hotel is set on a private 150 acres farm adjacent to the Monteverde Reserve. Within walking distance are a number of restaurants, night hikes, the Butterfly Garden and various other attractions.

Hotel El Establo offers 155 guestrooms in a 2-story property. Because the rooms are built up a hillside, your legs will benefit from the walk, but if you’re feeling self-indulgent, a shuttle ferries guests uphill from reception

The Deluxe rooms are equipped with: Orthopedic mattresses, coffee maker, telephone, safety box , large bathrooms with hot water, cable TV and hair dryer.  All guestrooms offer balconies.

Suites at Hotel Establo: Family Suites – these have a mezzane, 2 king size beds and the possibility of adding an extra single bed. Couple Suites – these have one king size bed. Double Suites – with two queen size beds and the best location on the property.

The restaurant is a new addition, serving a variety of meals and drinks. Restaurant “Las Riendas” delights visitors with the exquisite taste of traditional Costa Rican food, as well as varied internationals dishes.
