A 20th century version of the Arch de Triumph

The Grande Arch is a majestic modern building in the heart of French capital – Paris. It was built in 1989 for the anniversary of the French Revolution. The project to build was initiated by the French president Francois Mitterrand and its creator is Danish architect – Otto van Spreckelsen. The Great Arch is located in La Defense business district, in a direct line to the Arch of Triumph.

Diving in a Crater

The hot geothermal springs inside a large rock dome are the Utah’s version of tropical dive sites. The natural cavern is shaped like an hourglass and offers opportunity to scuba enthusiasts. The dive center is accessed only by tunnel, leading to the crater. The Homestead Crater is 18 m wide with a depth 20m deep. It’s a Utah’s largest hot tub where the water’s temperature is a balmy 35°C.

Light House Cinema, Dublin

Light House Cinema is a decidedly different and exciting movie theatre. The cinema is located at Smithfield in Dublin, Ireland. It looks and functions best when people are using it. Light House cinema is also an institution in Dublin. It began showing Irish, independent, foreign-language, art house and classic cinema 20 years ago, closed in 1966, and re-opened this summer in its new, customized space.
