The Great Blue Hole

The Great Blue Hole is geographical phenomenon situated 60 miles off the mainland of Belize. There are numerous blue holes around the world but none as stunning as this one. The whole is part of the Lighthouse Reef System and lies approximately 60 miles off the mainland out of Belize City. The centre of the hole is very large, almost perfect circular hole, approximately one quarter of mile (4km across). Inside the hole the water is 480 feet (145 m) deep.

Forest spiral by Hundertwasser

This building is called “Forest Spiral” and it’s located in Darmstadt, Germany. Its designer is Friedensreich Hundertwasser – the world famous Austrian architect. He is renowned for his colorful architectural designs which incorporate irregular, organic forms in an incomparable individualism. He was fascinated with spirals and called straight lines “the devil’s tools”.

Surrounded by the blue waves of the Sibuyan Sea and covered with white sands, this island is the most popular tourist destination of Philippines. The Eighth Wonder Of The World

The people of Cordillera, 3’000 years ago took on one of mankind’s most impressive landscape modification projects in order to farm effectively transform a mountainside region into what some now call the eighth wonder of the world. These are The Rice Terraces of the Philippines Cordillera. The project is astonishing due to the fact that it was completed thousands of years ago without the use of modern apparatus and machinery takes the terraces and integrated irrigation systems to a whole new level.

The shopping-mad Osaka

The ultra-chic construction – Namba Parks, is built in 2003 in Japan, according the architectural project by Obayashi Corporation. This large extraordinarily designed complex with total building area – 130,000 sq m, consists of a 30-floor office building and a 120-tenant shopping mall with eight floors of terraced gardens. The Parks Tower with a height of 150 m now is considered as a new landmark of the Namba area.

The world’s first underwater gallery

It’s an amazing underwater sculpture park creates a whole new perspective on the world. The underwater gallery is sited in the shallow waters at Moliniere Bay in Grenada, which is renowned for its diving experience. Its creator is the artist Jason Taylor. He is a fully qualified dive instructor with over 14 years of diving experience.

If you don’t know the Island of Mauritius was formed by volcanic molten rock and there’s one unusual natural sight – the seven colored earth at Chamarel Village. This is geological formation which comprised dunes of seven different colored layers. Also is called the “Seven Colored Earth”.

Floating Swimming Pool

In 2004 Berlin added a new attraction on the Spree River. This attraction is a stunning art installation with a floating swimming pool attached to wooden decking at the water’s edge. The people in Berlin fell in love with it, a permanent pool that is even covered during the winter, is home to a bar and stays open until midnight. The whole structure looks fantastic, especially at night, and is a reminder that a small amount of creativity can go a long way.
