Smithsonian Museum’s Butterfly Pavilion

Located -Second floor of the National Museum of Natural History, 10th Street and Constitution Avenue, NW, Washington, DC.
The Live Butterfly Pavilion is a tropical aromatic garden in which over 600 live butterflies interact with a variety of plant species.

The live Butterfly Pavilion sets a new standard for museum biology halls in both content and design.

The fluttering flight of four hundred colorful butterflies and the scent of flower blossoms will welcome visitors into an unforgettable, multi-sensory experience.

The butterfly pavilion and exhibit at the National Museum of Natural History is an attraction that the whole family will enjoy.Entrance to the Butterfly Garden will be limited to a certain number of individuals at one time to allow all visitors to enjoy the space comfortably.
