The dreamlike Tobago Cays

The Tobago Cays are a group of five small inhabited islands, part of the Grenadine Islands. Surrounded by Horseshoe Reef, the cays are magnetic destination for a cruise, snorkeling and diving. The Horseshoe Reef has a diameter of about two miles and the water depth averages five to twelve feet.

The Horseshoe Reef is housed huge variety of corals and tropical fishes. But the fishing, jet skiing, and anchoring dinghies are prohibited, because the wildlife is preserved by the government.

This magical place with a unique beauty is often used in movies. It was the backdrop for Johnny Depp being marooned in “Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl”.

The Cays are accessible only by yacht but there are water taxi services from the Grenadine islands.
