Jaco is one of the most popular Costa RicanÂ beaches. Playa Jaco is about 3 km long and is best reached by catching an International flight to San Jose. Besides Jaco Beach itself, more of Costa Ricaâ€™s best surfing beaches.

The areas to the north and south of Jaco are some of the most picturesque and cleanest, with stunningly gorgeous panoramic ocean views. The beaches north and south of town are much more scenic, and safer for swimmers.

Activities include surfing, swimming, deep sea fishing, ATV tours, bicycle rentals, horseback excursions, crocodile safari, national park and reserves , boat and kayak excursions, white-water rafting, canopy tours and popular night life.
