Feral Green Beauty – Pelee Island
Pelee Island is a haven of green, enclosed by the blue waters of Lake Erie. It registers Canada’s most southerly occupied point. Evaluating 14,5km long and 5 km wide and situated in the western half of the lake, it is placed close to the Ohaio border and on the same latitude as Northern California. Pelee’s location gives it the best year-round climate in Eastern Canada.

WHEN TO GO THERE :
During the whole year, but if you are a pheasant shooter it is good to avoid the autumn – Then the island gets populous and high-priced

It is an excellent place to walk, cycle or sail in a spaciously manufactured, but amazingly unspoilt, nature destination.
Memorial Park, The Pelee Island Lighthouse, Birdwatching, A winery tour at one of the island’s vineyards.

This is an ever-changing vista where the coastline is easily scoured, dunes come and go, lagoons appear and new bays are materialized
