Coral Castle in Miami

The Coral Castle is probably the strangest attraction in Florida. The Coral Castle originally called ‘Rock Gate Park’, was built by Edward Leedskalnin, working alone and by himself. The Coral Castle is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

Coral Castle is a stone structure, comprises numerous megalithic stones ( limestone, formed from coral ), each weighing several tons. The Castle walls and gates surround the carvings of furniture, creating a sort of “roofless†castle.
Many of the features of the castle are notable, including a table with a flower planted in the middle.

A series of concentric coral circles is said to represent the solar system.

The Coral Castle is an everlasting mystery to those who explore it.
Coral Castle is open 8AM-6PM on Sundays through Thursdays and 8AM-9PM on Fridays and Saturdays.
