Crystal River, Florida
Crystal River is a city in Citrus County, Florida, United States. From November through March, Crystal River is perfect epicenter of manatee-watching, as the gentle giants swim just under the surface. Some of the bays there are rimmed by attractive homes and lush greenery along its many coves and lagoons.

Crystal River is at the heart of the Nature Coast of Florida. The City is situated around Kings Bay (in the picture), which is home to nearly 400 manatee during the winter and is one of the few places where people can inter-act with them in their natural conditions.

Crystal River is a Home of the Manatee. Several dive shops, including the American Pro Diving Center, offer swim packages.

Seagulls fly under an early morning rainbow during a swim with the manatees.

Tourists can also enjoy the play of the manatees by kayak. Some companies offers tours to the 14-acre Crystal River Archaeological State Park, a site believed to be the setting of an ancient temple mound.

The park is home to 30 pink flamingos, white pelicans, and hippo stretches his mouth open in this picture:)
