Le Jules Verne restaurant, Paris

eiffle restaurant

The prestigious “Le Jules Verne Restaurant” is located on the second floor in France’s most famous landmark – The Eiffel Tower. With more than 6.7 million visitors last year, it’s the symbol of Paris. The restaurant has a private elevator, which zips you up 125 meters above ground. No trip to the French capital is complete without it.

The restaurant’s main attraction is the panoramic view of Paris. Sitting in the heart of this 118-year-old iron structure, the Jules Verne looks out over the town from 125 meters above – as you can imagine, the views from this restaurant are amazing.

In 2007 the restaurant‘s chef Alain Ducasse and his designer Patrick Jouin, transformed the place using a chocolate color and amber lighting. All the decor had to be light on this  iron structure. And because space is tight, the kitchen, where the food is washed and prepared is located underground.

Le Jules Verne Restaurant is open every days of week – for lunch 12.15- 1.30 p.m, then dinner is 6.30 – 10 p.m. The menu price is “accessible to everyone”: about €108 for lunch and €216 for dinner, without wine, but there is a fantastic wine list with an excellent selection, and some are even under 40€.
