The Westin Cadillac Hotel, Detroit
Last month, the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel in Detroit reopened its doors after a $200 million renovation. The hotel was built in 1920s and survived during the city’s boom years after World War II.

The two-year renovation project was the result of a partnership between the city and John J. Ferchill, a Cleverland developer who earned a lot of undertaking historic restorations in other Midwestern cities.

The Cadillac Hotel has 453 hotel rooms, three ballroooms, three restaurants, an elegant bar, a health spa and pool. The original-stule roof design has been meticulously remaked with new copper. More than 15,000 hotel booking have already been made at prices of $200 to $300 a night.
