Popeye Village, also known as Sweethaven Village is located at Anchor Bay in the north-west corner of the Mediterranean island of
Malta. It is a group of rustic, ramshackle wooden buildings, fun park and the film set from the 1980 film “Popeye” starring Robin Williams.
Popeye Village is open to the public seven days a week and, apart from the film set itself, has a number of family attractions for the visitor to experience. There are shows, rides and museums, as well as play houses where children can climb and explore the village.

Next to Popeye village, most popular place for kids,
is the fun park. This attraction offers children various rides and games for their amusement – a few hours with dodgem cars, puppet and animation shows, a splash pool, cinema and Santa’s Toy Town, where it’s Christmas every day. The children will have fun and enjoyment by going all round the Fun Park where they can go on all their favorite rides.

Grownups can be part of a filming experience with the animation crew, a number of
attractions such as Santa’s toy town which is the largest animated Christmas attraction on the island in December, a play pool with slides for children between May and October, water trampolines, sun bathing decks, beach lido, silversmith demonstrations all year round, a souvenir shop and food outlets and a winery offering free wine tasting. A boat from Popeye Village leaves every hour for a 20 minute sightseeing tour around the bay (between June and September).
