The Pepsi Max Big One is a steel roller coaster located at Pleasure Beach Blackpool in the United Kingdom. The ride was originally created by Arrow Dynamics. The ride cost a high price of £12,000,000 to build. The ride has undergone a few changes over the years, including re-profiling of the first drop and of the turnaround over the north entrance of the park.

The great opening was on May 28, 1994, the Pepsi Max Big One roller coaster claimed to be the tallest, fastest and steepest roller coaster in the world. Now the roller coaster is not the faster and the taller, but it is still the most attractive roller coaster in UK.blackpool-big-oneAlthough the ride is marketed as 235 feet tall by the park, this is the height from sea-level (bearing in mind the ride is located opposite the Irish Sea). The height of the lift from ground-level is about 65m (213 feet) with a drop of about 62m (205 feet).
the ride’s speed is marketed as being as high as 85 mph (128 km/h ), while the ride’s top speed under normal operation is around 74 mph ( 119 km/h ) due to wind-turbulence. When the ride was first opened, the park sold advance boarding tickets for the ride, resulting in the formation of the 235 CLUB (now known as Club Pleasure Beach).
The capacity of the coaster is 1700 riders per hour. The max g-force is 3.5.
