The Toronto Eaton Center

Toronto Eaton Centre
The Toronto Eaton Center is a historical landmark and today one of Canada best-known retail shopping destinations, attracting approximately 50 million visitors annually. It is the third largest mall in Canada and is one of the city’s most popular attractions. The six-storey glass-ceiling structure originated from one man dream to revolutionize the Canadian retail industry. It’s an architectural model for shopping malls around the country.

There are more than 285 shops, restaurants and services to wind your way through including brand new stores like Hollister, Mango, Bebe Sport, Jacob Lingerie, Lululemon Athletica and Pink Paw. Some of these shops can only be found in Toronto at this location. Besides clothing, the building offers a two-story Indigo bookstore, toy, pet and speciality stores. When you’re taking a breather from shopping, you can stop by Center Court’s famous fountain or look up for renowned Canadian artist Michael Snow’s sculpture of Canada geese, entitled Flight Stop.

Beauty and tasting demonstrations are also hallmarks of the Eaton Center’s live events, as are celebrity appearances. Other amenities of this mall include multi level multi-use complex, 3 office towers, galleria, multiple parking garages, police station, 2 subway stations, winter garden theater, Massey Hall, a pretty courtyard, proximity to transit and several vibrant neighbourhoods, and the ease of shopping that so many stores in one place brings.
