Hollywood is a magical district in Los Angeles, California. There are several smaller airports near Hollywood, including ones in Long Beach, Burbank and Ontario, that are used by low-cost airlines including JetBlue and Southwest.

Hollywood is one of those spots that live up to its stereotypes, right down to the sign in the hills. But with minimal effort, it can offer a whole lot more. Catch the latest popcorn flick, obscure retrospective or independent picture with every serious cinema buff in town. ArcLight Cinema also has a trendy bar and restaurant.

For sightseeing-seekers there’s Runyon Canyon is only two blocks from Hollywood Boulevard, and offers great views of Hollywood and far beyond. The 130-acre Runyon Canon offers steep, invigorating hikes. The area is popular with dog owners, including celebrities, who take advantage of the leash-free rule.
