Frankfurt

Frankfurt is spectacular industrial metropolis in Germany and it is the fifth-largest city and Goethe’s hometown, may well be your first glimpse of Germany.Frankfurt is a heavily industrial city, with more than 2,450 factories operating around the ford on the Main River, where the Frankish tribes once settled.

Most of the Frankfurt can be covered on foot. Nearly all the main sights lie within the boundaries of the old town walls, which today form a stretch of narrow parkland.Aswell as it’s good to visit the Römerberg, or historical core of the city. This is actually the site where Charlemagne erected his fort. In medieval times, the Römerberg was the marketplace of Frankfurt.

The most important building in is the red-sandstone church of St. Bartholomäus, often called “the Dom”

So if you get tired from all the strolling you can have a snack at one of the most stunning restaurant in Frnakfurt called ‘Silk’.The place is located on the outskirts of Frankfurt, in a semi-industrial neighborhood dominated by car dealerships.Silk may be the only restaurant in the world where the D.J.’s outnumber the chefs.

When you finish enjoyment of the food it is interesting to visit the Palmengarten ‘Botanical’ Gardens, which will be a lovely calming experience in the midst of the impatience of Frankfurt’s streets. It is a worthwhile 15 minute walk from Alte Oper. There you will find a beautiful well-kepted environment of lush plants, shade and romance. Everywhere you look is peaceful.
