Manihi Pearl, French Polynesia

Manihi is coral island in the Tuamotu Archipelago. The atoll is 1 hour 10 minutes direct flight from Papeete and 520km mortheast of Tahiti. The island is surounded by cristal clear waters with spectacular underwater gardens and fish of every imaginable size, shape and colour.

On th island can be found infinity pools, restuarants, bars, canoes and kayaks, scuba diving centre.

There’re also 40 typically Polynesian bungalous, which are great example of tasteful, traditional Polynesian architecture that uses a mixture of the most noble materials: local precious wood, bamboo, shells, pandanus and palm tree leaves.

The bungalows, located on the fringe of the coral reef, are all well equipped. The overwater bungalows have spacious sundecks with direct access to the crystal water of the lagoon and an indoor glass table allowing you to admire the underwater life. You can dine in Poe Rava, an open air restaurant or enjoy a refreshment at the Miki Miki bar which is nestled between the white sand beach and the fresh-water infinity pool.
