I’ve taken an annual trip to Las Vegas for the last several years, and have had the privilege of staying at some great hotels on the Strip. The Hugh Hefner Sky Villa (pictured) is the grandest of all the suites and is perched atop the Tower of Palms Casino Resort. It features an indoor pool with outdoor Jacuzzi that views the Strip, a glass elevator, media room, gym with sauna and many more amenities. Other suites include the Hardwood Suite, complete with basketball half-court, locker room and scoreboard; and the Kingpin Suite, with two full-size bowling lanes and full bar.Party people including Britney Spears, Fred Durst, Mario Lopez, Mike Tyson, Shaquille O’Neal and Wesley Snipes have made its Ghost bar and Rain disco hot bets. DiCaprio and pals romped in the suite that was the setting for MTV’s Real World last season.
The Palms Casino Resort has teamed up with iTunes to offer music fans “Live from Las Vegas” performances including exclusive audio and video available for purchase on the iTunes Store . The brand new $80 million concert theater The Pearl at The Palms is set to make its grand debut with a performance by Evanescence on March 17. “Evanescence: Live from Las Vegas” will be available exclusively on iTunes in the coming weeks including extended song lists and behind-the-scenes interviews for purchase and download. A live concert theater, The Pearl boasts accommodations for up to 2,500 ticket holders and features a state-of-the-art system for digitally capturing live performances.
