Over the last 31 years, the famous blue line marking the New York City Marathon route has seen brilliant performances, heartbreaking defeats, and more stories of individual triumph than any one person could ever hope to document. Listen closely. What you’ll hear is the fast-approaching sound of 30,000 athletes, making their way to the most famous finish line in the world.
