You want to feast on the deep sea delights of the Caribbean, apply your chop sticks to an Indonesian Rice Table or have a romantic French Dinner a Deux? You will find it on Aruba, and much more. International cuisine run fast from French to Fusion, from Italian to Indian, from Japanese to Javanese and from Argentinean steakhouses to Caribbean-style seafood restaurants. Local cuisine carries it own distinction with the sharp taste of a local “yerbe hole” basil bringing out the best of the “catch of the day.”

Aruba`s culinary traditions were born out of the abundance of the sea. From the time that the first people populated Aruba, conch, tuna, wahoo, mahi-mahi, grouper and snapper were staples brought home by island fishermen and shared amongst the community with a sense of celebration. Today fresh seafood still comprises a favorite dish, with traditional meals accented by native herbs and spices.This place is so great. They have diffrent of national dishes:* They have something like a pancake that is called “Pan Bati“. It tastes so good. The restaurant is known for seafood, but it’s cooked with a local taste and a nice sauce.
* Grouper sandwich: this fish inhabits shallow to mid-range reefs and is a white, sweet, mild-tasting fish. Fried in a proper batter, grouper is the main ingredient of many a lunch sandwich.

* Keshi Yena has its roots in Aruba’s Dutch influence: cooks take a wheel of Gouda cheese, pack the hollowed-out center with a spicy meat mixture of either chicken or beef, and then bake the whole concoction to be eaten year-round but particularly at Christmas.
* Lamb or goat stew (stoba).
* Cala (bean fritters).
* Pastechi are meat- or cheese-stuffed turnovers.
* Take a bite of ayacas, which are leaf-wrapped meat rolls.
* The delicious sopi di pisca (fish chowder) makes the most of the elements.Enjoy your meal !aruba_1.jpg
